Purpose:
The purpose of this course is to teach a basic methodology for selecting and implementing a Predictive Maintenance Technology.

Objectives:
At the completion of this course, the student who actively participates will:

  • Developed a set of goals and objectives.
  • Ranked machines in order of safety and business impact
  • Selected possible technologies
  • Ranked and selected technologies
  • Developed a set of specifications.
  • Developed procedures for the use of the new system
  • Developed a short & long term follow-up plan to insure success.


Description:
It involves extensive hands on work by the student. Actual application of the principals discussed will be done to a simple maintenance organization of the students choosing during the class. The course can be given as a short overview if desired.
