Developing a Preventive Maintenance Program

Purpose:
To give participants a systematic way to develop an effective preventive maintenance program for their machinery.

Objectives:
At the completion of this course, the student who actively participates will:

  • Describe a Preventive Maintenance system

  • Describe how to setup a Planned Maintenance program
  • Understand how to perform Reliability Centered Maintenance
  • Describe Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)


Description:
This is hands-on course. Participants will develop a PM system for several pieces of equipment. They are encouraged to bring information on actual plant machinery for this purpose.
